Lewis and Clark Men’s Golf Prepare for Spring Schedule
Godfrey, Ill. — Lewis and Clark Community College's men's golf team will open the spring portion of its 2025–26 schedule looking to build on the experience gained during a competitive fall season.
The Trailblazers faced a challenging slate in the fall, competing against strong regional fields that helped prepare the team for postseason play. Head coach Shane Callahan and his staff emphasized consistency and course management throughout the fall, laying the groundwork for improvement as the calendar turns to the spring championship season.
Lewis and Clark return to action March 16–17 at the Cougar Clash at Weaver Ridge Golf Course, with play scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. The spring schedule continues March 27 at the Rend Lake Invite at Rend Lake Golf Complex, followed by the Cougar Shootout on March 30 at Weibring Golf Club.
Conference and regional tests highlight the middle of the spring slate. The Trailblazers will compete April 9–10 at Illinois College's event at The Rail Golf Course before traveling April 13 to the Vincennes Spring Invite at Sultan's Run Golf Course.
The season culminates April 26–27 at the NJCAA Regional Championship, hosted at Weibring Golf Club, with tee times set for 8:30 a.m. The regional tournament will determine postseason advancement and serve as the team's primary goal as spring competition gets underway.
With a full fall of tournament experience behind them and a demanding spring schedule ahead, the Trailblazers aim to translate steady progress into strong finishes as they pursue a regional berth.
